The lid snaps on snugly and keeps the kitchen smelling fresh, which is exactly what I needed. It gives the bin a much cleaner, more finished look than I expected for an accessory.

My kitchen finally looks put together now that the lid sits flush on the bin, and the odor-blocking is a real bonus for our food scraps. The finish is smooth and wipes clean easily, though I did have to press firmly around all four edges to get a proper seal.
